Annual FASTag Pass for Residents Within 20 KM of Toll Plazas at ₹1,500

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has amended the National Highway Fee Rules, 2008, allowing eligible private vehicle owners living within 20 km of a toll plaza to buy an annual local FASTag pass starting November 1, 2026. The pass costs ₹1,500 annually if the toll plaza is outside municipal limits and ₹3,000 if inside. The pass requires a valid FASTag registered for non-commercial use.
