Andhra Pradesh CM Estimates Cyclone Murasu Losses at ₹1,919 Crore

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that preliminary estimates put the damage from Cyclone Murasu at ₹1,919 crore. The cyclone affected Bapatla and Guntur districts, damaging crops on 1.4 lakh hectares and horticultural crops on 6,749 hectares. Eight people died, and 983 houses, 346 boats, and 220 fishing nets were damaged. Relief and restoration efforts are underway.
