Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress of opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to protect fake and duplicate votes. Speaking in Hyderabad after a padayatra, he said Congress wanted to shield infiltrators and questioned Rahul Gandhi's opposition to removing fake votes.
