Amazon Now Sees Strong Response in Visakhapatnam

Amazon launched its quick-delivery service, Amazon Now, in Visakhapatnam a few weeks ago, fulfilling orders from nine More Retail Limited stores. Srikant Sree Ram, Amazon India's Director of Everyday Essentials, said orders are 6 to 7 times higher than the previous Amazon Fresh service, with 40% of customers returning within 4 to 6 weeks. Amazon Now has crossed $1 billion in annualized sales and plans to reach 100 cities by Diwali, including 20 cities in Andhra Pradesh.
