Allahabad HC orders UPESSC to drop 2 UPTET questions, recompute results

The Allahabad High Court directed the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) to exclude two questions from the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test-2026 evaluation after accepting two correct options for each. Justice Vinod Diwakar ordered recomputation of scores and correction of results for petitioners Vijay Sonkar and three others, extending benefits to all similarly placed candidates. The test will now have 148 questions with qualifying marks recalculated accordingly.
