Alight Acquires 2 GW Solar Portfolio in Southern Sweden

Alight has acquired a portfolio of 40 large-scale solar projects totaling approximately 2 GW capacity from Soltech Energy Solutions in southern Sweden. The portfolio includes options for co-located battery storage at most sites across electricity price areas SE3 and SE4. This acquisition raises Alight’s Nordic solar and storage pipeline to over 5 GW. Alight will develop the projects through permitting and grid connection to ready-to-build stage. The deal was approved by Sweden’s Inspectorate of Strategic Products. Financial terms were not disclosed.
