The Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (CAAQMS) in Vyttila and Kaloor, Kerala, set up by the Kerala State Pollution Control Board, have become non-functional after their annual maintenance contracts expired in February 2025. While the Eloor station remains operational despite its contract also expiring, real-time air quality data in Kochi is currently unavailable, with manual testing being conducted instead.
