AI-Powered Hackers Automate Attacks on Over 1,200 Websites

Cybersecurity researcher Snorre Fagerland documented a Chinese-speaking hacker using AI to automate cyberattacks on websites of over 100 companies, including Deere, SharkNinja, and Cummins. The AI agent autonomously probed and breached sites, demonstrating that AI can conduct complex intrusions without human help. Some attacks involved stealing credit card data and attempting cryptocurrency exchange thefts, starting from September 2025.
