Ahmedabad Factory Sealed for Making Tomato Ketchup from Potato Paste

Ahmedabad’s Health Department seized 10,630 kg of suspected adulterated food products and sealed a factory in Gota area. The factory, Aai Shri Khodiyar Grih Udyog, allegedly made tomato ketchup using potato paste instead of tomatoes, mixing potato powder with water, artificial colors, and flavors. Officials found around 5,000 kg of finished products and over 5,000 kg of raw materials during the raid.
