Adperma Plans IPO and Expansion of Phenol, Acetone Production

Adperma Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd backed by Indian Oil Corp, plans a public listing and expansion of its phenol and acetone production. The new phenol plant in Haldia, West Bengal, with a ₹6,000 crore investment, will open on October 14, producing 345,000 tonnes of phenol and 215,000 tonnes of acetone annually. This will reduce India's import dependence on these chemicals.
