ADGP Arun questioned by SIT in Veeramani minor abuse case

Former Chennai Police Commissioner A Arun, an ADGP-rank officer, was questioned by the SIT investigating sexual assault cases against mining baron R Veeramani. Arun was examined for about three hours and answered around 80 questions. He and another officer were placed on compulsory wait for alleged inaction in the POCSO case. Veeramani and several aides have been arrested in six related cases.
