Abhijeet Deepke, founder of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), was released on October 17 after being arrested during a protest at Jantar Mantar. Two other leaders, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, remain in judicial custody until October 18, with hopes for their release rising. Deepke stated the movement will continue and new strategies will be planned once all leaders reunite.
