90-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor Shot at Bondi Beach Dies

Eva Geller, a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor seriously injured in the Bondi Beach shooting on December 14 last year, has died in a Sydney hospital nearly a year after the attack. The shooting, Australia's deadliest in decades, killed 15 people. The gunmen, Sajid Akram and his son Naveed Akram, were inspired by Islamic State. An inquiry into antisemitism is due to report on December 18.
