33 Super-Speciality Medical Seats Vacant in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, 33 super-speciality medical seats remained vacant after a stray round of counselling for in-service candidates. The counselling allocated 13 new seats and upgraded two seats. Earlier, 43 seats were reported vacant, with the qualifying percentile lowered to 30th. Vacant seats include 10 each in MCh Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery and MCh Paediatric Surgery. Tamil Nadu reserves 50% of these seats for service candidates.
