300-Year-Old Rare Kalamkari Artwork Displayed in Ayodhya Museum

The International Ram Katha Museum in Ayodhya is preserving a rare 300-year-old Kalamkari artwork that depicts the entire Ramayana story. Created using block printing on cotton fabric, the artwork beautifully illustrates various episodes from the Ramayana. It measures approximately 17.5 feet in length and 6 feet in width and is believed to be from the 18th century, according to museum records.
