300 Muthanallur Residents March for Safer Roads and Infrastructure

Nearly 300 residents of Muthanallur and nearby areas marched along Chandapura–Dommasandra Road (SH-168) demanding safer roads, better civic infrastructure, and a cleaner environment. Organized by Bruhat Muthanallur Residents Forum during Karnataka Rajyotsava, they highlighted poor road conditions and called for pothole-free roads, improved junctions, traffic signals, streetlights, and safer pedestrian crossings near schools. Environmental concerns about local lake pollution were also raised.

Two separate incidents on Mumbai local trains involved life-threatening situations amid disputes. On Friday night at Mumbai Central, a person fell from the Churchgate-Virar fast local train after a fight near the door but survived as the train was entering the station slowly.
