24 Indian Seafarers Safe After Incidents in Strait of Hormuz and Romania

All 24 Indian seafarers aboard two vessels involved in separate incidents in the Strait of Hormuz and Romania are safe, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal confirmed. On October 16, the crude oil tanker MT ST 3, carrying 15 Indians, was struck by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz. On October 14, the chemical tanker YARA J, with nine Indians, was hit by a drone off Romania. There were no casualties or injuries reported.
