21 Trekkers and Porters Rescued from Uttarkashi Himalayan Areas

On Tuesday, 21 trekkers and porters were safely evacuated from Kalindi Pass, Jogin-I Peak, and Satopanth Peak base areas in Uttarkashi district amid snowfall and adverse weather. Helicopters airlifted groups to Harsil helipad, where all underwent health checks. Rescue operations at Kalindi Pass and Jogin-I Peak are complete, while Satopanth Peak efforts continue. Earlier, 40 stranded trekkers were also evacuated.
