18,093 Villages Declared Adarsh Grams Under PM-AJAY

Under the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY), 18,093 villages have been declared Adarsh Grams, and 785 student hostels have been completed. Over 47,200 villages benefiting 47.79 lakh citizens have been covered, with 46,944 development works completed and 27,032 village development plans prepared. The scheme aims to develop Scheduled Caste-dominated villages into model villages by improving infrastructure and essential services.
