17-Year-Old Alexander Du Creates $170 AI Glasses for Visually Impaired
Alexander Du, a 17-year-old student from Sewickley, Pennsylvania, won the 2026 Presidential AI Challenge National Championship. He invented IRIS, an AI-powered wearable costing $170, designed to assist blind and visually impaired people in navigating their surroundings.
