150 Kuki Militants Missing from Manipur Camp, Working in Farms: Groups

At least 150 Kuki militants under the Suspension of Operations agreement in Manipur are missing from their designated camp in Kangpokpi district, according to security sources. The militants claim they are working in agricultural fields due to unpaid government stipends for 26 months. Authorities found only 17 men at the camp, who were arrested for impersonation, along with the seizure of 24 firearms. Manipur CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited the camp to assess the situation.
