10th Grade Student Attacked with Saw in Andhra Pradesh School

In Anantapur district's Raptadu, Andhra Pradesh, a youth attacked a 10th-grade girl with a sharp saw used for cutting tree branches inside the district council high school. The girl sustained serious injuries to her face and head and is undergoing treatment at Anantapur hospital. Another student was also injured. The attacker was arrested shortly after the incident, and police are investigating the motive. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow and spoke to the girl's mother.
