The over 100-year-old Race Course Mosque in Delhi received an eviction notice around October 19, with six days to vacate. The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) cut water and electricity to the mosque and surrounding homes as part of a demolition drive ordered by the court. The land belongs to the Union government's Land and Development Office. The mosque is on NDMC's heritage list.
