1,330 Unrecognised Parties Lack Financial Reports for FY 2024-25: ADR

According to an ADR report, 1,330 registered unrecognised political parties (65%) in India did not submit their annual audit and contribution reports for the financial year 2024-25. Of the remaining 734 parties, only 461 submitted both reports. The report analyzed 734 parties across 34 states and UTs, highlighting significant gaps in public availability of financial disclosures. Uttar Pradesh had the most parties with available financial statements, followed by Delhi and Bihar.
